From a young age, I’ve been captivated by unique, handmade pottery. Some of my earliest memories are of visiting my grandparents and admiring their beautiful collection of ceramics. Each piece had its own story, and I loved hearing about their travels and how they found them. Over time, I began building my own collection and often wondered if I could one day create pieces like the artists I admired.
Several years ago, I finally decided to take my first pottery class, and I was immediately hooked. Week after week, I brought home new creations—ceramic bowls, vases, platters, sculptures, and anything else I could imagine. The only problem was that my home was filling up with pottery! That’s when I decided to take the leap and start selling my work to the community. It’s been an incredible experience so far and I’ve greatly enjoyed creating custom ceramics for my clients. Working with clay brings me immense joy, especially when I get to create something truly unique that brings beauty to ones surroundings.
I specialize in hand-building custom pottery, including:
- Bowls: My custom bowls are handmade in all shapes and sizes, featuring organic, flutter, ruffle and wavy designs. They’re a favorite among my customers and tend to sell out quickly!
- Vases: Each stoneware vase I create blends artistic flair with practical functionality, making every piece one of a kind.
- Platters: Made from stoneware clay, my hand-built platters are designed to elevate any dining experience with their distinct beauty.
- Sculptures: My sculptures are crafted using traditional techniques like slab and coil building, often featuring intricate carvings for a unique artistic touch.
